Siddhant Chaturvedi Finally Reacts To Ananya Panday’s “Struggle” Remark Controversy | RVCJS
Siddhant Chaturvedi is one of the rising stars of Bollywood and expectations from him are quite high after his superb acting performance in Ranveer Singh starrer “Gully Boy”. Last year, he was in headlines for taking a jibe at the “struggle” comment made by actress Ananya Panday in the round table interview. Ananya was talking about nepotism and she was trying to convey that even star kids have to struggle. In that bid, she compared an outsider’s struggle with her father Chunky Pandey not being invited at Koffee With Karan or not getting work in a movie of Dharma Productions.
At that time, Siddhant said that everyone has his own struggle and basically an outsider’s struggle starts from the point where dreams of starkids get fulfilled. That was a witty statement but it was projected as a savage reply to Ananya and now Siddhant has opened up about that incident.
As per Siddhant, now he pays more attention to what he says; he first thinks and then speaks because what he says might be taken in a wrong context and that it could be blown out of proportion. Siddhant says that he is witty and humorous and he tends to respond with funny one-liners most of the time because this is what he is in real but it doesn’t mean that he wants to show disrespect to anyone or make fun of anyone.
Presently, Siddhant Chaturvedi is busy shooting for “Bunty Aur Babli 2” which is a sequel of Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji starrer “Bunty Aur Babli” which was released in 2005. Apart from Siddhant, the sequel also stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in important roles. The director of the movie is Varun V. Sharma and it is being produced by Aditya Chopra.
Siddhant says that he is living in the best phase of his life as he is a fan of Rani and Saif and now he is working with them. Talking about the film, he says that his character Bunty will have five looks in the flick and it is a complete family entertainer. When he was asked how he got the role, he said that he didn’t give the audition; Varun asked him whether he would like to act as Bunty in the movie after the narration and in response, he said Yes instantly.
Talking about the first part, he said that he used to dance a lot on “Kajra Re”, “Dhadak Dhadak” and “Nach Baliye” in the birthday parties and never imagined that he would be playing the lead role in the sequel. He is also a part of a movie which is directed by Shakun Batra and stars Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday.
Siddhant Chaturvedi also thanked the God for giving him so much work as once he used to be jobless.
