MS Dhoni is certainly one of the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team and there was a time when it was felt that it won’t be easy for anyone else to replace him but in reality, it happened in a pretty smooth manner when Virat Kohli took over captaincy from Mahi. The top most position has been acquired by the Swiss tennis player Roger Federer for the first time till date as his pre-tax earnings have been calculated to be $106.3 million last year. It is also the first time that a tennis player has secured the first rank in the list which is being released every year since 1990. Around $100 million has been earned by Roger Federer through the endorsements as he has been associated with some highly esteemed brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Credit Suisse and others.
