Kartik Aaryan & Sara Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal Day 1 Collection Out & Figures Are Superb | RVCJS

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer “Love Aaj Kal” hit the theatres yesterday and it won’t be wrong to say that the Valentine’s Day was just the perfect occasion for this romantic movie’s release.

Talking about the first day collections of “Love Aaj Kal”, the flick got a great response from the audiences and turned out to be the highest opener of Kartik Aaryan with the earnings of Rs 12.40 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#LoveAajKal packs a solid total on Day 1… Got a boost due to #ValentinesDay2020… Metros excellent, contribute to the big total… Tier-2 cities and mass belt ordinary/low… Will it collect in double digits on Day 2 and 3, is the big question… Fri ₹ 12.40 cr. #India biz.”

There was a lot of hype around the movie due to the alleged affair of Kartik and Sara; however, they both never confirmed it and now it is being said that they have broken up. During the promotions in a comedy show, Sara made it clear that she has no problem in dating Kartik Aaryan but she has one condition which has been imposed by her father. The condition is that the person whom Sara dates should have immense money.

Talking about “Love Aaj Kal”, it is directed by Imtiaz Ali and said to be the sequel of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer film of the same name which got released in 2009.

The new movie also stars Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma in important roles. It is the story of a girl Zoe who doesn’t want to fall in love ever as her parents had a troubled relationship and she was brought up by a single mother. Zoe’s elder sister also had a complicated past because of which she is more afraid of relationships. She is an ambitious girl who eventually falls in love with Veer (Kartik Aaryan) despite trying hard to suppress her feelings.

The movie got mixed reviews with more on the negative side but the opening has been spectacular; however, the big question is whether the movie will be able to maintain or increase the earnings after such not-so-good reviews. While some online users alleged that Kartik Aaryan is playing the same role in different flicks, some are of the opinion that Imtiaz Ali is repeating the same story in each film.
