A Navy aircraft crashes in Goa on Sunday, training pilot safe

A Navy MiG-29 aircraft crashed on Sunday. However, the pilot aboard the plane survived narrowly. The pilot of the aircraft sailed out safely. Further action has been initiated to investigate the accident. The Indian Navy said in a statement that at around 10.30 am today a MiG-29 aircraft aboard a training pilot crashed in Goa. The pilot of the aircraft was safely evacuated and recovered. An inquiry order has been issued to investigate the incident.

It is being learned that the Navy’s MiG-29 aircraft had left for a routine training session at around 10:30 in the morning. Shortly after the flight, there was a technical malfunction in the engine of the aircraft, the air traffic control officials were immediately informed. Meanwhile, the plane crashed. However, before the accident, the pilots managed to get out safely.

The aircraft crashed in November as well

Let me tell you that earlier in November, a similar Navy plane crashed in Goa. Pilots aboard the aircraft were safely rescued during the incident on 16 November. Within three months of this incident, the second plane also fell victim to the accident. Authorities say that the debris of the crashed plane has been recovered after the accident on Sunday and an order has been ordered to investigate the incident.
