Ranveer Singh’s Comment On Wife Deepika’s “Chhapaak” Poster Proves He’s The Best Husband | RVCJS

Deepika Padukone has been missing from the silver screen for more than a year now and her last released flick was “Padmaavat” which is her highest grossing movie ever. Meanwhile, she was seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Zero” but that was a cameo and her fans expect to see her a lot more on the big screen. She has now started shooting for her next film “Chhapaak” which is based on the story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Yesterday only, the “Piku” actress released the first look of her character in the movie, which has been named as Malti.

With the photo, she wrote a caption that read,

“A character that will stay with me forever…#Malti

Shoot begins today!#Chhapaak

Releasing-10th January, 2020.”

Check out Deepika’s tweet:

Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh was quick to appreciate the first look as he wrote these beautiful and supportive words in response, “Astonishing! What a remarkable prospect! Proud of you baby! I love you! Go get ‘em!”

Here is Ranveer’s comment:

Taking up a project like this needs a lot of courage because it is not just a role but a big responsibility in view of the fact that there are many acid attack survivors who are fighting in courts for justice. Attacking a woman with acid is one of the most heinous crimes that can be committed by a person but the culprits take the benefit of the slow process of our judicial system and remain untouched by police and law for a long time. The worst part is that the attitude of the society towards the acid attack victims is not supportive and they are left alone to fight their battle.

We wish Deepika luck for “Chhapaak”!
