Deepika Finally Responds To Filmfare Not Giving Her Best Actress Award. Here’s What She Said | RVCJS

Like every year, Filmfare Awards created a lot of buzz and made thousands of people talk on social media this time again. Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor award for Sanju and Alia Bhatt bagged the Best Actress award for Raazi.

In the critic’s favourite category, Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana got the Best Actor awards while Neena Gupta won Best Actress Award for Badhaai Ho.

A fan club of Deepika Padukone was quite irked about the fact that she was not honoured with the Best Actress award even after giving a spectacular performance in Padmaavat. The fan club posted a note on Instagram in which they showed anger against Filmfare and also announced a boycott. Here’s what they wrote-

will forever remember & will never forget what filmfare did to deepika and sanjay sir. jitesh and the filmfare did really bad and dirty with her. its okay. rani padmavati will be always with us. these people will never understand what it was like to be around at that phase when all the people and the whole film was on the danger zone including the lead actress of the movie. they’ll never understand how deepika and the whole team has gone through that time. not only filmfare but slb has also done dirty with deepika by reducing and cutting her scenes & moving the whole film around khilji. anyways, y’all will never understand, the tears, the heartbreaking , her blood & sweat & her dedication to this role, it was the toughest & the most challenging role for her and she has given her everything, & she really deserved some recognition & respect for that hardwork and at that phase & its safe to say that we are really done with slb and his titular roles for the next 5 years. & if filmfare can give a tie between ranveer & ayushmaan for the best actor, then what was the problem with deepika ? why not tie between alia and deepika ? Deepika Padukone replied the post and apologized to her fans for letting them down. She also promised that she’ll work harder than ever before. Here’s what she wrote-
