Rajasthan Police Used Alia’s Meme From “Kalank” For Anti-Drug Campaign. This Is How Varun Reacted | RVCJS
The social media platforms are of great help whenever there is a need to spread a social and public welfare message. What’s more, adding humour to the message can make it more interesting and attention-seeking. Agree?
The police departments of various Indian states are using social media networks for running their campaigns whether they are related to road traffic safety or against drugs as the reach of these networks is far better than other mediums.
Recently, the trailer of movie “Kalank” was released and it was watched by a huge number of people. The Rajasthan Police used a still from the trailer featuring Alia Bhatt with the dialogue that read, “Humse zyada barbad koi nahi is duniya mein”.
The caption that Rajasthan police wrote was,
“Stealing money for buying #Drugs?
If yes, then the #Kalank of theft & being a drug addict is going to end your happiness.
Stop consuming #Drugs or else they’ll consume you.
@aliaa08 @karanjohar @Varun_dvn @sonakshisinha @adityaroy @DIPRRajasthan @ashokgehlot51”

Other than Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, “Kalank” also stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sonakshi Sinha. Directed by Abhishek Varman, the movie is a period drama based in India of 1940s and it was a dream project of late Yash Johar, the father of Karan Johar.
