Farhan Akhtar’s Coronavirus Poem Has A Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara Twist & It’s Bang On | RVCJS

The Bollywood celebs are sitting inside their houses as the country is under lockdown till May 3 due to the coronavirus outbreak and they barely have the option of working from home. Some of them are using social media networks for spreading awareness about COVID-19 as well as entertaining their followers by hosting Q&A sessions, posting amusing videos, interacting with fans and sharing good old memories.

Recently, the talented actor, director and singer Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram account and posted a video in which he seen reciting the poem, “Toh Zinda Ho Tum” from his movie “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. However, there was a twist in the poem as it has been improvised according to the conditions which are a result of the coronavirus crisis.

In his poem, Farhan Akhtar has revealed all the ways to keep oneself safe in this time of crisis, so listen to it and follow it. The caption that the actor wrote with the post read, “‘Toh Zinda Ho Tum’ – Corona version. #laughalittle #stayhome #poemsforourtimes”.

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” was released in 2011; it was directed by Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar and other than Farhan, it also starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin in important roles. The movie performed well at the box-office and also won two National Awards for Best Audiography and Best Choreography.

The release of few flicks has been postponed and the shooting of many films has been stopped as coronavirus has become the most important concern of the country at the moment. Till now, the number of COVID-19 positive cases in India is over 14,000 while more than 450 have lost their lives. If we talk about the situation worldwide, the number of positive cases is over 22.5 lakhs while more than 1.5 lakhs have succumbed to the lethal disease.

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar will be seen next in “Toofan” which is based on boxing and will be directed by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra. Presently, the “Rock On” actor is spending the lockdown period with his girlfriend Shibani Dandekar.
