Taapsee Pannu Reveals Her Struggles & Tough Bollywood Journey, “Hero’s Wife Got Me Replaced” | RVCJS

Undoubtedly, there is no short cut to success and hard work, determination and dedication are absolutely needed if a person wants to become successful. The Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is one of the best examples of the same as she has made her name in the industry by giving some really powerful performances. What makes her achievement noteworthy and remarkable is the fact that she has attained the whole lot without any godfather in B-Town.

While Taapsee has entertained fans with her acting in masala movies such as “Judwaa 2”, “Chashme Baddoor”, etc., she has left an impressive impact with intense performances in “Badla”, “Thappad”, “Saand ki Aankh” and more. However, the journey of the “Pink” actress hasn’t been easy. In fact, she has accepted herself that there was a time when she was considered a bad luck charm and no moviemaker wanted to work with her.

Recently while talking to a leading daily, the actress talked about the hurdles which she faced and also about the hate, negativity and prejudice against women that she dealt with. Taapsee revealed that once she was replaced just because the wife of the hero did not like her. She told that while dubbing dialogues for one of her flicks, she was asked to change her dialogue as the hero was not comfortable with it. Though she refused to change the dialogue, the makers made it happen by hiring a dubbing artist.

She also talked about the insecurities of the actors as once a hero wanted to change her introduction scene as he felt that it would overshadow his introduction scene. She also spoke about the incident in which she was asked to reduce her fees because the last movie of the hero bombed at the box-office and producers needed to do some cost-cutting in the budget.

Apart from it all, the “Mulk” actress has also disclosed how she is planning to work in the future. As per her, she has decided to work only in those films in which she feels happy to work. Though some have advised her not to do so because it may affect her overall career, she is in no mood to listen to them and says that whenever an actress starts doing women-centric movies, many male actors stop working with her. She further adds that it may make her journey tougher and longer but she will certainly enjoy it as she has been doing it till now.

Taapsee is pretty active on social media networks and has a huge fan following but she is also one of the favorites of trollers as she likes to express her opinion on many issues which sometimes doesn’t go well with other people.
