Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior & Chhapaak Day 4 Collections | RVCJS

Last Friday, two big Bollywood flicks got released – “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” and “Chhapaak” and needless to say, movie buffs had a lot of expectations from both the films.

“Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” stars Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles and it is based on the story of Tanhaji Malusare, a Maratha military leader and close associate of Chatrapati Shivaji. The film got a good opening and collected Rs 61.75 crore in its first weekend.

Talking about the fourth day earnings of “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”, the Ajay Devgn starrer minted Rs 13.75 crore on Monday and till now, the movie has collected Rs 75.68 crore.

“Chhapaak” stars Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey in the lead roles and it is the story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor.

The flick earned Rs. 19.02 crore in its first weekend while on Monday, it collected Rs 2.35 crore, which makes the total earnings of the movie Rs 21.37 crore.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior-

Day 1 – Rs 15.10 crore

Day 2 – Rs 20.57 crore

Day 3 – Rs 26.26 crore

Day 4 – Rs 13.75 crore

Total – Rs 75.68 crore

Chhapaak-

Day 1 – Rs 4.77 crore

Day 2 – Rs 6.90 crore

Day 3 – Rs 7.35 crore

Day 4 – Rs 2.35 crore

Total – Rs 21.37 crore

It was expected that the collections of “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” will go down on Monday as it is a working day; however, it’s indeed a happy news on the part of the makers that the figures are still pretty good. Earning Rs 13.75 crore on a working day shows that the film has been liked a lot by the audiences and it is definitely going to be one of the biggest hits of the year.
