Article 15 Beats The First Day Collection Of Annabella Comes Home | RVCJS

Ayushmaan Khurana’s latest release Article 15 has finally hit the screens. The movie is based on the 2014 Badaun rape case and it revolves around caste discrimination in the country. It is among the first Bollywood movie which has focused on such a serious topic regardless of being a commercial entertainer.

The movie gives out a powerful message to its audience. However, the movie is being appreciated by the critics and the audience for its brilliant storytelling. Article 15 did quite well with the first-day box office collection of Rs. 4.75 crores.

Article 15 saw good growth in the evening in the metropolitan cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, NCR, Pune etc. The movie is basically focused on the rural background of UP but ironically the movie failed to see good growth in Uttar Pradesh.

It’s assumed the movie is going to do great in the box office keeping in mind the last few box office collection of Ayushman Khurana.

On the other hand, Hollywood release horror movie Annabella Comes Home couldn’t create the magic in the box office. The movie collected Rs.3.25 crore on its first day. On the second day, the movie earned Rs. 3.75 crore.

Annabella Comes Home has a low collection over the last two days and the movie earned all together Rs. 7 crore in the Indian market.
