FIR Filed Against Salman Khan & Loveyatri’s Cast & Crew. Here’s All You Need To Know | RVCJS
It seems that troubles for Salman Khan’s home production film “Loveratri” are not going to end any sooner. The movie stars Salman’s brother-in-law Ayush Sharma and a newcomer Warina Hussain in lead roles and is slated to hit theatres on October 5 this year.
Some days ago, we informed you that a lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha lodged a complaint against Salman Khan and Loveratri’s cast and crew on September 6. During its hearing, Shailendra Rai, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (East), commanded Mithanpura cops for registering the FIR.
The lawyer raised an objection on the title of the film and said that it’s intended to mock Navaratri, a holy festival of Hindus. He further said that Loveratri’s release on 5th October, just a few days before the festival, will further hurt Hindus’ sentiments. Not only this, he also added that promos of the flick contain much vulgarity.
On Friday, the FIR was filed against Salman and other people associated with the flick at Mithanpura police station after Shailendra Rai passed an order on 12th September.
As per Vijay Rai, Mithanpura SHO, apart from Salman Khan, the names of Ayush Sharma, Warina Hussain, Ram Kapoor, Ronit Roy and director Abhiram Minawala are also included in the FIR.
The lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed the complaint under various IPC sections – section 120(B) for criminal conspiracy, section 153 for provoking with intent to cause riots, section 153(B) for assertions prejudicial to national integrity, section 298 for uttering words with deliberate intent to hurt religious sentiments and section 295 for injuring or defiling place of worship.
Later, Salman Khan changed the title of “Loveratri” to “Loveyatri” and made an announcement of the same on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
Do you think that the movie will have a smooth release?
